Howdy everyone! I hope you're doing finer than a frog on a Friday night (you know they sit around and drink then, don't you?).

Welcome to our Thursday 13 meme. What is Thursday 13? Just the finest and easiest meme around. All you have to do to play is make a list of 13 things. We don't care about the topic, but if you want some ideas, you could post 13 photos, things that make you happy, things that make you sad, the stuff on your desk, the books you read, places you've visited or lived, your favorite colors of crayons . . . pretty much anything. It can just be 13 single words if you want.

If you need ideas, check out the link at the top of the blog.

Join in with Mr. Linky at the bottom so we can find you. We like to visit and we hope you'll enjoy visiting us, too.

On August 24, 79 AD (I don't know how they figure things to the exact date), Mt. Vesuvius woke up,  darkening skies and burying cities. The volcano sent ash and cinder plume rockets into the afternoon sky of southern Italy, killing tens of thousands in Pompeii with searing heat and burying them in ash where they lay.
